Who runs this site

This site is run by Dave Ajamiseba, an independent UX/UI designer based in New Orleans. If you have a question about anything on this page, email dave.ajami@gmail.com.

What this site collects

The only tracking on this site is Google Analytics 4. It records the pages you visit, your approximate location by city or region, the type of device and browser you use, how you arrived at the site (for example from a search engine or a link), and how long you spend on each page.

It does not collect your name, your email address, or any payment information, and there is no account data because the site has no contact form and no login. The email address in the footer is plain text for you to copy; nothing is sent from this site.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works exactly the same if you do.

Why I collect it

I use the analytics to see which work gets viewed and how people find the site. That helps me decide what to write up next and where to put the effort.

Who else sees it

Google processes the analytics data as the provider of Google Analytics. How Google handles that data is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

The data is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone else.

How to opt out

To stop Google Analytics from recording your visits on this site and others, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser settings works too.

How long it is kept

Google Analytics keeps the data it collects here for 2 months, which is how this site’s analytics property is configured. After that it is deleted automatically. Aggregated reports, which contain no visitor-level data, may be kept longer.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, the UK, or California, you may have the right to ask what data has been collected about you and to have it deleted. Email dave.ajami@gmail.com and I will respond.

This page may change as the site changes. When it does, the last updated date at the top will change with it.
